Mike was pursuing a career as an accountant, before joining the Commercial Real Estate Industry. His tenacious nature, coupled with his eager need to work in ever-changing environments led him to leave behind a steady industry, in pursuit of a career in a market filled with dynamism.
Mike started as an Investment Sales Associate at Itzhaki Properties in 2013 and was quick to fall in love with the industry. He is extremely analytical and thoroughly understands transaction structures in market environments across NYC. He thrives on the deal making process and takes a keen interest in fulfilling the disposition needs of long-term property owners who are seeking options to sell their assets. Mike is calm, patient and empathetic; hence, Sellers love working with him and his team, while buyers often recognize him as an astute investment sales professional who carries strong market knowledge at the tip of his fingertips, and applies his skillset to manage a large, well-controlled deal pipeline.
During his time at EPIC Commercial (Formerly Itzhaki Properties), Mike facilitated several transactions across a range of asset categories and markets. Mike and his team also single handily pioneered growth in submarket(s) such as Ridgewood Queens, where they enabled institutional investors to recognize the potential of the sub-market, and assisted them with the acquisition of several key properties, consequently creating an incredibly vibrant neighborhood with an active real estate market. Also, Mike frequently contributes to several prominent financial new publications.
After a strong run at EPIC Commercial (Formerly Itzhaki Properties), Mike decided to join his co-founders in the pursuit of pushing forward XRE's mission.
Mike moved to the U.S from Russia when he was a teenager and speaks fluent Russian. When he is not working, Mike is in the company of his friends or family. He is an enthusiastic Giants fan who loves tailgating on Sunday's during football season
